LISBON, Ohio (WYTV)- – Work continues Thursday to clean up what Mother Nature left behind after a line of severe thunderstorms hit the Valley Wednesday evening.
The Nation Weather Service will send investigators out to determine if a tornado touched down in Lisbon where trees and power lines were downed and roofs and buildings were damaged.
A house on Sherman Street is collapsing from the weight of a tree that fell on it during the thunderstorms.
About 500 homes were without power in Columbiana County during the peak of the storm.
Power outages were also reported in Mahoning and Trumbull counties, mainly in Girard and Hubbard. Crews have been working around the clock to restore service.
As of 4 a.m. 217 customers were without power in Columbiana County, 133 in Mahoning County, and 232 in Trumbull County.
