POLAND, Ohio (WYTV) — The annual Celebrate Poland event will be held Friday and Saturday.
The festivities will kick off Friday with the annual Strawberry Festival at Poland Presbyterian Church, 2 Poland Manor, followed by the Firemen’s Parade at 7 p.m. For the third year, the festival will end with a fireworks display at 10 p.m. Saturday.
Shuttle service will be offered again this year after a successful run last year, which will help accommodate the crowd and make parking easier. On Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., people can park at the Poland Methodist Church on Route 224 and take a bus to and from the festivities.
Between 6 and 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, people can park at the church and at Poland High School and take a bus to and from the festival. All parking and shuttle service is free.
Activities are planned all day Saturday around Poland Village Hall starting at 9 a.m.
