Truck stuck under bridge in Hubbard

HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WYTV) — A garbage truck driver is lucky to be alive after hitting a steel beam Wednesday afternoon.

An Allied Waste truck got stuck underneath a bridge tressel on Everett and Wick Campbell roads in Hubbard Township. The bridge is on the main line for both Norfolk Southern and CSX railroads.

The road will be closed indefinitely while the mess is cleaned up and the bridge is repaired.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
