Youngstown emergency workers cut car to pull out driver

Youngstown crash

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) — Youngstown safety forces had to cut a car apart to get a driver out of a truck Monday morning after an accident left him trapped.

About 9 a.m. Monday, police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Avondale Avenue on the city’s south side for a crash with entrapment.

That’s when they found a Chevy truck laying on its side. Crews cut the driver out and took him to the hospital.

Police did not mention his condition or whether charges would be filed.
