WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A young entrepreneur in Warren is looking to raise money despite a setback.
Five year old Mackenzie Terry was selling lemonade and cookies Monday morning in front of her Belmont Street N.W. home even after vandals destroyed her cardboard lemonade stand.
The stand was demolished sometime in the overnight hours.
Mackenzie is trying to raise money for school clothes and supplies.
“This year she has uniforms, not regular clothes because she is going to STEAM. She went to Willard last year and now she is changing schools,” said Mackenzie’s mother Alisha Scott.
The vandals didn’t destroy Mackenzie’s entrepreneurial spirit though, she just set up a table and chair.
If you are looking for a snack, a cup of lemonade or a cookie is 50 cents.
