New details on Bugno search

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – WYTV 33 News has uncovered new details related to Thursday’s police search of Bugno’s Towing and Recovery and the Bugno family’s home in Struthers.

Documents filed Friday in Common Pleas Court in Youngstown reveal disturbing new details that led to the raids.

A pair of male juveniles told Youngstown police they and others had been meeting, seven or more times, at different locations with an employee of the towing business to perform sexual acts for money.

The boys claimed they and others would take off their clothes and the employee, whose name WYTV is withholding since he hasn’t been charged, would give them a white pill often recording or live-streaming the incidents onto a pornographic website.

In one specific instance, the two boys said they met the employee at the Bugno location on Indianola Avenue on June 20. Both teens told police the employee sat in front of them on a blanket and performed oral sex on both of them but told them afterward he didn’t have the cash they wanted on hand and would pay them in the future.

That same night, both boys said they returned to the Bugno garage and shot the windows of the employee’s vehicles with BB guns. A police report filed the next day indicates three vehicles had been damaged the night before by an unknown suspect.

The documents filed Friday state dozens of items were seized in the raids of the tow yards and the Bugno home, including computers and hardware, digital cameras, compact discs, cell phones and a variety of pills.

Both the owners of the business and the employee have claimed the accusations are false. At this point there is no word as to when or if charges will be filed.
