Car enthusiasts celebrate Packards in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) — Packard car enthusiasts celebrate their vehicles.

Two big events going on today in Warren.

The annual show at Packard Museum and the 49th national meeting of the Packard Club.

Both events draw hundreds– some log a lot of miles to get to Warren.

For some members of the Packard Club, this event is a chance to meet people they’ve only ever talked on the phone or emailed with.

“These are all people that share a common interest in these cars and you can strike up a conversation anywhere, just sit down and talk about Packards,” said George Hamlin, Packard Club.

The packard club has its annual meeting at a different place every year.

Next year’s meeting is in Reading, Pennsylvania.
