3-D printing at center of demonstration

3-D printing

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Printing of the future, that’s what a group of people were gathered for Thursday in downtown Youngstown.

There was a V.I.P. reception inviting people to see the 3-D printing that is going on at America Makes. It was the kickoff to and event that will take place this weekend where people from all over the Valley can see exactly what 3-D printing is.

Scott Deutsch with the Nation Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining said over the next few days, extensive testing will be done by Make magazine on the 3-D printing of desktop 3-D printing equipment.

Make Magazine is also featuring the Youngstown facility.
