Wings-N-Wheels show takes to the air

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) — Today kicked off the second annual Wings-N-Wheels show at the Sloas Airfield in Warren.

As pilots who are preparing for tomorrows show flew in, today’s main event focused on motorcycles and tractors.

Also today was the long waited grand opening of the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum.

“That’s right the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum is open. There are a few little interactive things that haven’t been hooked up. But it’s the way it’s going to be and I am very proud of it,” said Bill Griffin, Board of Directors chairman.

Griffin is expecting 100 planes to be at the event tomorrow there will be an air show featuring planes such as a World War two trainer.

He has been waiting to open the museum for almost six months.
