Shaker Woods fest popular as ever

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WYTV) – It’s the first weekend for a summer tradition in Columbiana. The Shaker Woods Festival attracts shoppers and vendors from all over the country.

This year there are 210 crafters, including a new jeweler and potter.

The event is set in a wooded area off of County Line road. The setting is primitive and lends to the atmosphere of the festival. It is one reason people keep coming back year after year.

“Honestly, I believe it is our craftsmanship because it is from all over the country and absolutely the atmosphere. It doesn’t get any better than this.,” said Lana Grim, Shaker Woods owner.

This is the 32nd year for the festival. The event runs for two more weekends: August 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, 2014.

General admission tickets will be on sale at the gate.

Admission Rates:
