Fitch’s Hall commits to Pitt

Darrin Hall

Austintown Fitch Senior Darrin Hall has verbally committed to play college football at Pittsburgh.

The Big 22 veteran made the official announcement Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings in Austintown.

Last season, Hall was named First Team All-Ohio in Division One.

He rushed for 1,480 yards, averaging almost six yards per carry with thirteen touchdowns.

He says he chose Pitt because it’s close to home, and serves him well for his career aspirations after football:

“They have what I need on the field and off the field as far as education. I want to go in the FBI. They got the FBI headquarters, you can walk to the FBI headquarters. So I just did it for, just a great choice for me,” said Hall.

The Falcon standout chose the Panthers over Michigan State and Kentucky.
