Lisbon powers past Leetonia

Leetonia, OH (WYTV)- Lisbon jumped out to a 21 point halftime lead and went on to defeat Leetonia, 35-6 in the Spaghetti Bowl Thursday.

Running back Jason Thompson got the scoring started with a 15 yard touchdown in the first quarter. Danny Shultz and Austin Davis both added touchdowns in the second quarter to make it 21-0 at the break.

Shultz finished with 97 yards rushing on 13 carries with two scores while Davis averaged over 11 yards per carry (82 yards). Quarterback Josh Liberati threw for 139 yards on 7-11 passing. Jared White caught 4 balls for 122 yards. Lisbon outgained the Bears 404 to 225.

The Blue Devils will return to action next Friday when they travel to Mineral Ridge (0-1). Leetonia will play at Columbiana (0-1).
