Midlothian paving project nearly done

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The final phase of a project to upgrade Midlothian Boulevard is under way.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is laying down a final course of asphalt along Midlothian Boulevard from Glenwood Avenue to Youngstown-Poland Road. The paving, painting and weather stripping of the road should take about one month.

Alternate lane restrictions will be in place.

This is the final phase of work that began in January to improve drainage, replace gas lines and resurface the road. The project is a joint effort between the city of Youngstown, Mahoning County and ODOT.
