Local company makes racino signs

McHenry Industries making racino signs

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) –  An Austintown company is manufacturing the outdoor signs for the racino that will open in less than two weeks.

Thursday morning, McHenry Industries showed off its newest sign that is just over 90 feet long. They will put it into place at Hollywood Gaming’s Mahoning Valley Race Course on Friday.

McHenry Industries is working with Toledo Sign on the project for Penn National Gaming. Company president Ron Musilli said it has kept them very busy over the summer.

“This project is one that we really wanted to take on, obviously. Being local, it turned out great. They were fantastic to work with. Our guys have done a fantastic job. It speaks volumes of the guys we have working here that can knock a project out in the summer,” Musilli said.

Musilli said they will continue to work with Penn National as they need sign work. The racino officially opens Sept. 17.
