Playground coming to Youngstown park

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Wick Park is about to get a big addition.

Over the next few days, volunteers will be installing a new playground at the park on the north side of Youngstown. The all-access area is worth more than $120,000 and paid for through private funding.

Volunteers also plan to do general cleanup work around the park.

It’s all part of the United Way Day of Caring, which more than 550 people from local businesses and organizations will take part in a community-wide volunteer projects.
