Hickory’s defense continues to shine

Hermitage, PA. (WYTV) – Having not given up a single point thus far this season, Hickory pitches another shutout as they roll past Corry, 42-0.

Already leading 14-0, the Hornets faced a fourth and 22. Opting to go for it, the Hornets executed a “Hook and Ladder” play to perfection when Nicholas Cannone hit Andrew Pryts on a 28-yard touchdown pass, making it 21-0.

The Hornets have outscored their first three opponents by the count of 101-0 (Strong Vincent, Sharon, Corry). Hickory is the last Class AA team in Pennsylvania to have not allowed a single point through three games this season.

Hickory’s defense will look to make it four in a row when they travel to Warren (PA) next week.
