Local band to release CD on Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The rock band Remains of Jade will host Revolution RockFest and a release party for its new CD, “Face to Face,” on Saturday at Striker’s Lounge on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the show starts at 4 p.m.

“Face to Face” was produced by Bobby Amaru of Saliva and Nolan Neal of Hinder at 16th Edge Studios in Nashville, Tenn. The Revolution Tour will consist of stops in Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Florida and Texas, where they will be performing with Saliva.

The band hails from Youngstown, Ohio with Steven Paul of Girard on guitar and vocals, joined by drummer Chopstix of Pittsburgh, and Michael Chomos (CJ) of Brookfield on vocals and bass. The band has been together for five years.
