Oktoberfest raises funds to save the city pool

Oktoberfest raises funds

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WYTV) — Folks in East Liverpool are celebrated October a little bit early.

The fourth annual Oktoberfest was held Saturday.

Plenty of German delicacies were on hand as well as samples of beer.

The event was hosted by the East Liverpool and Calcutta Rotary Clubs.

“All the proceeds today will go towards the save the pool campaign,” said Megan Forsythe, East Liverpool Rotary Club.

That campaign raises money to repair the city pool so that folks can enjoy it during the summer months.
