Man arrested in Youngstown, charged with steak knife attack on dad

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Youngstown Police arrested a man Sunday morning after his father said he attacked him with a steak knife.

Authorities arrested Deron Williams, 32, and charged him with domestic violence and felonious assault Sunday, according to a police report.

Police interviewed a man who identified himself as Williams’ father, who said that Williams stabbed him after an argument between them escalated.

The man said that he fled and got help from a nephew living nearby after Williams slashed at him and punched him several times.

Officers located and arrested Williams after that.
