Miller stepping down at MetroParks

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The executive director of Mill Creek MetroParks is stepping down to tee up for a new job.

Dennis Miller told the Mill Creek MetroParks Board of Commissioners he will be resigning as of Monday and taking on a new job as golf director at The Lake Club in Poland.

Miller has served the MetroParks for nearly 17 years, including as head golf professional, then as golf director and most recently as executive director for the past two years. Miller will remain involved with the MetroParks until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition to the new executive director, according to a news release from the MetroParks.

“I am truly appreciative of the opportunity the Board of Park Commissioners has given me as Executive Director of Mill Creek MetroParks,” Miller said in a resignation letter to the Board of Park Commissioners. “I feel that I have accomplished so much in my tenure here at the MetroParks, but I have made the difficult decision that it is time for me to move on in my professional career.”
