Officer sues boss for sexual harassment at Mercer prison

MERCER, Pa. (WYTV) – A former Pennsylvania state prison employee has filed a lawsuit against her old boss.

The federal suit claims Amanda Kulkin was the target of sexual harassment and gender discrimination while she was working as a corrections officer at the state prison near Mercer.

Kulkin and her lawyers said supervisors at the facility were aware of the problem but did nothing to stop it.

The suit requests damages for lost wages, humiliation and legal expenses.
