Columbiana flies past Jackson Milton

Columbiana, Ohio (WYTV) – With identical three and two records, host Columbiana came away with the win over Jackson Milton on Friday night, 34-18.

Trailing 27-12 at the half, Jackson Milton attempted to come back in the second half. Driving near the end of the third quarter and into the fourth quarter the Blue Jays’ Mike Assion found Adam Smith in the endzone to shrink the Clipper lead to 27-18.

But, the Clippers would answer when Mitch Davidson connected with Dylan Davin for a 75 yard touchdown pass giving Columbiana all the lead they would need, winning 34-18.

Columbiana (4-2) will travel to Lisbon next week.

Jackson Milton (3-3) will host Crestview in week seven.
