Local BMX riders ready to compete

Local BMX riders going to NC

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – BMX riders are gearing up for one of the largest courses in BMX history and two Valley riders will be competing there in Asheville, N.C., this month.

Anthony and Ronnie Napolitan are world class riders from Youngstown. They will be competing on a course such as this one at Red Bull Dreamline.

The course is known as Anthony’s Dream, because he developed the concept behind the track. Anthony is excited to compete on the course he dreamed up. He has not seen it since last spring.

“Our last jump is about 30 feet long and we want to make sure that everything is working perfectly before everyone shows up,” he said.

Anthony and the other riders will be gearing up to compete on Oct. 11.
