Man arrested, charged with OVI

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio (WYTV) — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested a man early Saturday morning following reckless driving and a failed sobriety test.

According to a police report, Robert Armstrong of Goshen was stopped on Saint Clair Avenue near Bloomfield Road after police saw him swerve left of center. He was then given field sobriety tests that he subsequently failed and police arrested him.

According to police, this is Armstrong’s fifth offense.

Armstrong is scheduled to appear in East Liverpool Municipal Court on Monday, Oct. 6.
