Police investigate bomb threat at Hermitage Wal-Mart

Hermitage Walmart bomb threat

HERMITAGE (WYTV) – Police and a bomb squad responded to the Wal-Mart in Hermitage Tuesday morning after someone called in a bomb threat.

The call came in around 4:15 a.m. and the caller said there were several bombs in the store at 1275 N. Hermitage Rd.

There were no customers in the store at the time, but the employees were evacuated as police searched the area.

Police cleared the scene around 6 a.m. and the store has reopened.

In August, a bomb threat was called in to this same store. A 16-year-old Kinsman teen has been charged in that case. Police say the teen called in the threats while with his friends from a location in Trumbull County.
