Poland, OH (WYTV) – The Poland boys soccer team scored three goals in the second half to defeat Crestwood, 3-0 in the Division II Sectional Tournament Tuesday.

Despite plenty of shots on goal, it was scoreless at halftime. But less than four minutes into the second half, Marcus Trevis set up Jake Buccieri for the go-ahead goal.

Matthew Holsinger added another goal, while Anthony Sabula capped off the scoring for the Bulldogs, also assisted by Trevis.

Poland outshot Crestwood, 10-6. Keeper Joe Slechta led the way with seven saves, while Poland’s Bryan Montgomery stopped six on the night.

The fifth-seeded Bulldogs advance to play #4 West Branch this Saturday at noon at West Branch High School.
