Warren, OH (WYTV) – Despite their scoring troubles this season, the Raiders offense came to life Saturday in a 38-26 win over Cleveland Heights at Mollenkopf Stadium Saturday.
Harding fell behind 6-0 in the first quarter, but came back strong with a Keemari Murry touchdown run on 4th and 2 to give them a 7-6 lead. Murry would help the Raiders take the lead in the 2nd quarter with an 18 yard run to make it 14-6.
The Raiders defense and special teams came up big all night long. After an errant Tigers snap on the punt, Eli Watson came up with the tackle, and Kane Murray recovered it in the endzone for a 20-6 Raider lead.
Later in the quarter, Elijah Cofield broke free for a 78 touchdown run, while Murry scampered in from 39 yards out later in the quarter to extend their lead to 32-12.
