WEST SENECA, NY (WYTV)- Canisius rallied from 10 points down in the 4th quarter to stun Cardinal Mooney in New York Saturday afternoon 24-17.

Mitch Thomas scored with less than 30 seconds left in the game to give the Crusaders the lead. Thomas had 19 carries for 82 yards and winning touchdown.

It was Mooney who struck first, Jon Saadey scored on a rollout to the left side that put the Cardinals on top 7-0. Anthony Gill gave Mooney a 17-7 lead in the 3rd quarter after a 13-yard touchdown run.

The Cards return home for their yearly game against Ursuline this week.
