CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Tuesday morning, three people connected to drugs found in a Dora the Explorer backpack in Campbell over the weekend were in court.
The three suspects, all wearing jail suits, appeared before a judge for the first time since their arrests late Friday night.
Judge Patrick Cunnings set bond for George Weidner at $25,250 and $24,500 for both Amanda Pirlozzi and Tracy Walton.
All were appointed attorneys through the court and since they have pending felony charges.
Cummings entered not guilty pleas on the misdemeanor charges.
The three are accused of trafficking drugs including cocaine and marijuana in a four-year-old’s backpack, branded with the popular children’s show characters, while the child was with them, unrestrained, in the back seat of their car.
“We have three individuals that are driving around with the highest level of felony cocaine in their possession,” Campbell Law Director Brian Macala said. “They’ve got a four year old in the car and they’re hiding the drugs in the four year old’s backpack um this situation’s just wrong the whole way around.”
All three are due back in court on Friday for their preliminary hearings.
