Man charged with assault on 102-year-old in Neshannock

NESHANNOCK, Pa. (WYTV) – Authorities charged a Fredonia man with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct Saturday afternoon after they believe he kicked a 102-year-old woman twice, according to a news release.

Police went to Jameson Care Nursing Home Saturday around noon, where a nurse said Michael Pavelek, 65, kicked the woman in the shin after she started following him down a hallway. According to the release, the nurse tried to pull her away from Pavelek, saying “You are going to hurt her.” The nurse claimed he said, “Good,” according to the release, before kicking the woman again.

Jameson Care Nursing Home is located at 3349 Wilmington Road.
