State helps fund summer storm clean up in Lisbon

Lisbon storm damage

LISBON, Ohio (WYTV) — The village of Lisbon is getting some money to help pay for the clean up from severe storms this past June.

The state will be sending a nearly $15,000 check to help pay the costs. Lisbon spent $42,000 on wages and other costs.

The state won’t cover wages.

Dozens of trees were toppled, one home was destroyed and 91 others damaged in the June 11 storm.
