Police say man brought gun to Campbell elderly facility

Vasu Manor indictment

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Campbell police are investigating a 19-year-old man they say brought a gun into a senior facility and impersonated an officer.

The man is not being named because charges haven’t been filed yet in the case.

Police say the man brought a gun inside Vasu Manor on Roosevelt Drive and was wearing a police badge around his neck.

The man was at the facility visiting his grandmother, which he reportedly does frequently.

He recently tried to stop another visitor while wearing the badge and is accused of showing a resident a gun and two full loaded magazines.
