COLUMBUS, Ohio (WYTV) – Youngstown Police Chief Robin Lees received an award Wednesday from Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.
Lees was awarded the Mark Losey Distinguished Law Enforcement Service Award during a ceremony at the Ohio Attorney General’s Law Enforcement Conference in Columbus.
Lees was among 20 individuals and one task unit that was recognized. The Mark Losey Distinguished Law Enforcement Service Award recognizes individuals for outstanding and dedicated service and contributions to law enforcement and the community they serve during their career.
“”Those receiving awards this year have all made tremendous contributions to their communities by valiantly saving lives and putting the safety of others before their own, by going above and beyond for community members, and by dedicating their lives to public service,” said Attorney General DeWine. “It is an honor to present these awards to the best of the best in Ohio law enforcement.”
