NEW SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on Beard Road at Columbiana Road Tuesday afternoon.

A car heading south ran a stop sign and hit an eastbound pickup truck, which then hit a cow pasture fence. The pickup truck had lots of tools and other stuff in the pickup bed that ended up scattering all over the road, police said.

No cows were injured.

The driver of the car was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police said both drivers had suspended licenses with limited driving privileges.
