O’Brien to represent Ohio’s 64th district

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — There will be a new face representing the 64th district in Ohio and it will be Mike O’Brien.

Warren’s former mayor easily turns back Randy Law, his third try running for state rep.

O’Brien is elected to state office for the first time.

He thanks the voters for giving him another chance to serve the public.

“I’m glad that after thirty years experience, that the people have rehired me, and rehired me to do a job that this time, doing a job in Columbus. I’ll be able to affect education. I’ll be able to affect employment. But at the same time, most importantly, be excellent with constituent service,” said O’Brien.

“I think my experience having served before and having had a good record for the district, with it being open seat, I thought I was just as qualified as anybody to be able to get things done quickly with the overwhelming majority we will have in Columbus,” said Law.
