Noteworthy
Mooney has advanced to the post-season in eleven of the past twelve campaigns.

Of the Cardinals’ four losses, three were by a touchdown or less. Their five wins were by a margin of 26 points. Coach P.J. Fecko’s group only played two teams who did not finish with a winning record.

In their last outing, Fitch forced 2 turnovers and held Mooney to 237 yards of total offense.

Woodridge has advanced to the post-season for the third consecutive year. First-year head coach Jeff Decker served as an assistant on Chagrin Falls’ staff for the previous six years.

The Bulldogs closed out the season with five wins in a row including victories over 8-2 Field (24-21) and 8-2 Streetsboro (34-21).

Woodridge’s offense has stayed balanced throughout the year as they’re averaging 173.5 yards passing and 167.5 yards rushing on the season. Tom Finegan, the Bulldogs’ quarterback, has thrown for 1660 yards and 22 touchdowns while completing 132 of 205 passes (64.4%). Finegan has a trio of stellar targets in Jacob Williams, Anthony Thurman and Jacob Margroff, who have all caught 31 passes or more.
