Noteworthy
Wellsville is making their first return trip to week eleven in school history. Since the Tigers’ back-to-back losses in weeks 3 (Lisbon, 13-0) and 4 (Western Reserve, 37-13) – coach Rich Wright’s team finished the season strong by winning five of their last six. The defense has been strong all year as they held six opponents to single digits.

Mapleton began the season by being shut out at home in their first two games. However, since then, the Mounties have run off wins in 7 of their last 8 games to qualify for the post-season.

Mapleton is in search of their first playoff win in school history.

A year ago, Wellsville played host to Mapleton in the Regional Quarterfinal round. Zack Mellott ran for 109 yards and Marcus Moxley picked up 104 on passes from Jordan Sloan as the Tigers were victorious, 39-21.
