Noteworthy
Junior Benny Snell ran for 177 yards on 29 carries to lift the Warhawks past Solon, 23-10, last week. Westerville Central has possessed a balanced offensive attack all year long. The Hawks have averaged 200.6 yards passing and 224.9 yards rushing per outing.

Nate Jackowski has filled in nicely for Gavin Lyon at quarterback. Jackowski has completed 60.5% of his throws for 1,230 yards. Lyon had a touchdown to interception ratio of 12-1 before his injury. Snell has run for over 125 yards in five of his last six games.

Last year, Fitch ended Westerville Central’s season with a 40-24 second round defeat. The Falcons took advantage of the Warhawks 6 turnovers. Westerville Central began the first half with a 24-14 lead but the Falcons closed out the game with 26 unanswered points.

Last week, despite turning the ball over 3 times, Fitch was able to come away with a 15-3 win over Wadsworth. The Falcons held the Grizzlies to only a 21% conversion rate on 3rd down (3-14). Tyler Hewlett gained 210 yards on 19 totes for Fitch.
