COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WYTV) – It took a Columbiana County jury just 90 minutes to convict Christopher Miller of Salem of murder Monday, according to WKBN’s print partner, The Morning Journal in Salem.
Miller was charged with last years beating death of Matthew Bailey. His body was found near an oil well on Hartley Road.
This was the second trial for Miller. The first ended in a hung jury in June. He will be sentenced November 20th.
Assistant County Prosecutor John Gamble said a different set of eyes looking at the case, in the form of a different jury, caused the change in outcome.
