WARREN, OH (WYTV)-In a battle of Division V powers, Ursuline is advaning to the regional final after beating Liberty 23-7.

Ursuline started the scoring in the first quarter, after Kimauni Johnson scamppered from 3-yards out to give the Irish the lead.

But that did not last long, Lynn Bowden hooked up with Ben Phillips for a 73-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 7 a piece.

It was in the 3rd quarter where the game shifted the was of the Irish. Vito Penza called his own number for a 78-yard touchdown run that put the Irish up for good. Penza had two touchdowns on the night.

Ursuline advances to play Canton Central Catholic in the regional final next week.
