Local artists’ work celebrated downtown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) — Artist from all over the Valley joined to sell and appreciate each others’ work.

Youngstown artisst celebrated the local art scene at the Mahoning Commons Ward Bakery Building on Sunday afternoon.

The open holiday sale featured Paintings sculptures and many more works of art from 31 different local artist.

According to the artist themselves, shows like this allow for the chance for them to interact and display their art for the public.

“It’s great to see everything that people are doing in this town, because we don’t really have like a public venue like a gallery where we can all show. So events like this allow people to come in, it’s a really intresting old building,” said local artist Tracy Segreti.

The next art showing will take place on Nov. 29 and 30 beginning at noon and going until 5 p.m.
