POLAND, Ohio (WYTV) — With the month of December beginning on Monday, residents are already heading out to grab their Christmas trees.
This weekend was actually one of the busiest weekends for the Fedor Tree Farm in Poland.
Owner John Fodor explained that the busy cycle for tree farms goes in waves where sometimes they get a few people here and there and other times they are flocked by customers looking to have that holiday tradition of picking out a Christmas tree together.
“Come out and bring the kids, watch them run around and hunt around and the kids try to cut down a tree. Drink some hot chocolate and, I just think it’s a good family tradition. Have a tree that looks good and smells good, it’s usally a family tradition for people,” said Fodor.
The family-owned farm has been in business since the 1960’s.
