Since Lakeview’s 2008-09 All-American Conference – White Division championship, the Bulldogs have only been able to top the .500 mark once (2011-12: 11-10, 6-4) in the last five years. Lakeview has accumulated a winning percentage of 28.2% (31-79) overall during that span. First-year head coach Larry Herrholtz returns an experienced bunch who are proving to be very hungry for wins.

Each of the four seniors on Lakeview’s roster saw significant time last year. Brandon Keller led the team in scoring (10.1 ppg) last winter while finishing with a 4.0 rebounding average and 1.8 steals. Ryan Pishotti handed out 1.8 assists while scoring 5.5 points. Tommy Bell led the Bulldogs with a 5.8 clip on the boards as he averaged 4.8 points. Chris Romano saw action in 21 games last year and averaged 2.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest.

Junior Angelo Marino also returns after posting a 2.7 scoring average and 1.7 rebounds.

Herrholtz will coach his first game as the Bulldogs travel to Edgewood next Tuesday for a showdown with the Warriors.
