Two charged in parking lot drug bust

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Campbell police are stepping up patrols around businesses during the holiday season, and by doing so, they’ve already made a few drug arrests.

The latest was Tuesday night in the parking lot of McDonald’s on McCartney Road where two men from Pennsylvania were arrested for possession of heroin.

Police say they found Robert Bollinger and Dominick Sankey, both of Hillsville, inside a vehicle at the back of the lot. Due to the odd hour, officers check on the vehicle and found the two men inside the car with a needle filled with heroin and a spoon smoking on the center console.

Both men were taken into custody and are being held in the Campbell City Jail. Bollinger also had an outstanding warrant out of his home state of Pennsylvania.

“They are going to extradite him, and it appears like it might be for some type of larceny offense,” said Lieutenant John Rusnak, Campbell Police Department.

Both men are scheduled to appear Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
