Ex-wife and son charged in Ellwood City beating death

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (WYTV) – Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a mother and son in the brutal beating death of a man outside an Ellwood City grocery store.

Police arrested Lisa Marie Jones-Orock, 40, of Ellwood City and her son Zachary Christopher Jones, 22, of Ellwood City in the beating death of Gerald Lee Orock, 57, of Fombell, Pa. Jones-Orock is the victim’s ex-wife.

Police were called about 10:30 p.m. Sunday to Loccisano’s Golden Dawn in Ellwood City where they found Orock’s body lying in the parking lot near a loading area.

Police said Jones-Orock and her son lured Orock to the parking lot and beat him with a wooden club. A witness found Orock’s body and called police.

Both Jones-Orock and her son were charged with homicide and are in police custody.
