Money presented for new Canfield library

Checks received for Canfield library

CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – Friday, two organizations presented checks to help build a brand-new public library branch in Canfield.

The Canfield Rotary and the Nils and Janet Johnson Foundation are each giving $50,000 to the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. Today’s $100,000 donation is part of a $500,000 campaign goal to build a new library on West Main Street. The total project is about $4.5 million.

The Rotary raised the money through its 4th of July fireworks show and its Fly the Flag program.
