YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Beloit man accused in a Nov. 3 stabbing was indicted on several charges Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury.
Brian Spinks, 29, is facing charges of assault, resisting arrest and obstructing justice. A police report states police were called to Spinks’ Third Street home for a report of a fight and found a man stabbed with a folding knife.
The victim was taken to the hospital. Spinks resisted arrest at the scene and kicked a police officer in the chest, a police report states.
Police also confiscated drug paraphernalia at the scene and the suspected weapon, the report states.
Spinks has been free on bond since Dec. 4, Mahoning County jail records show.
