YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – It is back to the bargaining table early next year for another of the employee unions at Youngstown State University.
Members of YSU-ACE, which represents non-teaching workers at the University, voted this week to reject a fact-finder’s report concerning a new contract.
Ninety percent of the bargaining unit’s 296 members took part in the voting with 238 voting against the proposal.
This comes days after YSU’s Board of Trustees also rejected the same report.
Both sides in the process are under a news blackout and could not comment.
Negotiations are to resume in early January.
