$11.1 million lottery ticket sold in Boardman

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WYTV) – Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Boardman is $11.1 million richer.

Marie Kilbane with the Ohio Lottery Commission said the winning Classic Lotto ticket was sold over the weekend at the Shell Food Mart on Western Reserve Road.

The holder of the winning ticket has not claimed the prize yet. They have 180 days to do so.

Kilbane said it’s a good sign that the winner did not come forward right away.

“It gives the winner some time to plan. To decide what they are going to do with the money, maybe get some financial advice,” Kilbane said.

The retailer gets a bonus of $1,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers were six, 30, 35, 36, 39 and 43.
