LIBERTY, Ohio (WYTV) – Slick roads kept safety workers busy Saturday morning.

Crews have been laying down salt and brine across the Mahoning Valley, responding to accidents and blocking roads that are too treacherous to drive.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Liberty Fire Department and the Trumbull County Hazmat Team were called to Interstate 80, near Route 11 about 10 a.m. for a semi that turned on its side.

The Route 11 southbound exit ramp to I-80 west was closed for about two hours.

The driver suffered minor injuries, and there was some fuel leakage that needed to be cleaned up.
